The Center for Ethics and Religion at Queens is proud to present Dr. Nancey Murphy, professor of Christian philosophy at Fuller Theological Seminary. A highly sought after international speaker, Murphy is an expert on philosophy and the relationship between theology and science. She received a B.A. in psychology and philosophy at Creighton University in 1973, a Ph.D in Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Berkeley in 1980, and a Doctorate of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in 1987. Murphy serves on the board of the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences, Berkeley, and is a member of the Planning Committee for conferences on science and theology sponsored by the Vatican Observatory.
