Everett Library

Built in 1960

Offers more than a million books, e-books, periodicals and newspapers, videos and pathways to research databases. It honors former trustee Herschel Hill Everett and his wife Cornelia Nisbett Everett.  A wooden swing in its lawn is made from timbers salvaged from a sorority house that burned several years ago. The portico features a mosaic made from more than 250,000 tiles.  A new Georgian-style facade was constructed in 2000.
